The SKY77754-11 Power Amplifier Module (PAM) is a fully matched, 26-pad surface mount (SMT) module developed for FDD LTE, TD-SCDMA, and TDD LTE applications. This small and efficient TD-SCDMA / TDD LTE PAM integrates three power amplifier Tx paths, input and output matching, and daisy-chained directional couplers into a single 5.0 mm x 3.5 mm x 0.9 mm package. SKY77754-11 meets the stringent spectral linearity requirements of TD-SCDMA / TDD LTE modulations with high power-added efficiency for power output to 28 dBm.

The SKY77754-11 PAM is manufactured with Skyworks’ InGaP GaAs Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) Bi-FET process that provides for all positive voltage DC supply operation while maintaining high efficiency and good linearity. No regulated voltage is required. No external supply side switch is needed as typical “off” leakage is a few microamperes with full primary voltage supplied from the battery. The SKY77754-11 Power Amplifier Module can save handset designers significant phone board space and design-cycle time.
