What is the difference between an Intern and a Co-Op Student?

Although very similar, there are unique differences between the two positions. An Intern is a student who works for 3 months (part-time/or full time) around their academic schedule.

A Co-Op is a student who takes a semester off from school and works at Skyworks full time for 6 months, in lieu of taking courses that semester.

When are Internships and Co-Op positions offered? Is there a limit on how long an Internship lasts or a Co-Op student hired?

We hire interns and Co-Op students throughout the year for defined terms with specified start and end dates.

Internships:

Co-Op Positions: We offer two, 6- month structured terms
