Si88441BD-IS integrates our proven digital isolator technology with an on-chip dc-dc converter that provides isolated regulated output voltages of __sl:outputsupplymin__ or __sl:outputsupplymax__ V (or >5 V with external components) at peak output power levels of up to 2 W. The device provides 0 foward and 0 reverse digital channels and supports data rates up to __sl:maxdatarate__ Mbps. Additionally, Si88441BD-IS devices achieve propagation delays of only __sl:maximumpropogationdelay__ ns max and are certified by UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC.

The Si88xx evaluation kit allows customers to evaluate the performance of the Si88xx digital isolators with integrated dc-dc converter family of products. The evaluation board has the Si88241ED-IS populated to showcase the family. It is a complete solution for using a 3 - 5 V primary supply to deliver up to 2 W on the secondary side at 3 - 5 V supply voltage. Convenient test points are included to measure and observe time varying currents and voltages to calculate relevant parameters like efficiency, load/line regulation etc.

Si88xxx Low EMC EVB

The Si88xxx Low EMC EVB reference design with the Si88241 utilizes best practices for mitigating emissions and instantiates techniques for passing the very stringent requirements of the CISPR 25 standard. The Si88241 is a digital isolator with an integrated dc-to-dc converter. As with all dc-to-dc converters, conducted and radiated emissions must be carefully studied and controlled. Two MCUs on the primary and secondary sides continuously send SPI data across the isolators. Four channels of bidirectional isolated data transfer with jumper-selectable SPI data rates allow the testing of emissions with actual data traffic.
