Job Title Facility Chemical Engineer
Background Reinforcing resources due to business expansion and item increase
Job Description
    ・Initiates planning and design, determines specifications, and launches the following facilities, and lead improvement initiatives and studies necessary for trouble shooting after the installation
       - Chemical and gas supply facilities
       - Waste liquid and wastewater collection facilities, exhaust gas treatment facilities
       - Monitoring equipment incidental to each facility
    ・Prepares quotation specifications and purchase specifications for new facilities/equipment introduction
    ・Drives concept study at the planning stage and determines specification at the detailed design stage for new facilities/equipment introduction
    ・Conducts project management (budget, process, and quality control) for new facilities/equipment introduction
    ・Checks and revises design and construction drawings and construction manuals submitted by vendors (print review)
    ・Complies with laws and regulations, designs required by internal and external parties, and manages necessary permit applications
    ・Organizes necessary meetings with internal and external parties
    ・Conducts technical review with chemical engineering companies, and evaluates and implements technical proposals
    ・Develops performance maintenance plan and future plan for existing facilities and equipment
    ・Plans, estimates, budgets, and executes modifications and improvements to existing facilities and equipment
    ・Provides support for facility operation plans the establishment and improvement of facility operation plans, and technical 　support for operation and maintenance
  • Provides technical support in case of facility troubles
Skills and Experience ・Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, chemical engineering
・Knowledge of the basic principles of chemical concepts, phenomena and related topics
・5+ years of experience as a facility engineer in the semiconductor industry or equivalent
・Good computer skills including Excel, Word, and CAD drawing
・Able to perform multiple tasks without delay
・Excellent communication skills and daily conversation in English
・Able to value teamwork and work cooperatively as a team member
・Able to work proactively with strong ambition and ownership
・Results-oriented and always sincere
