CERTIFICATIONS

Skyworks has established and applies Quality and Environmental Management Systems and ESD Control Programs for the design, manufacture, and testing of our products. We have demonstrated our quality leadership and strengthened our commitment to customer satisfaction through formal, third-party registration of our management systems to ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001 and ANSI/ESD S.20.20.

AS9100

Created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), AS9100 is an industry-recognized, international aerospace quality management system standard, which provides manufacturing suppliers with a comprehensive quality system for providing safe and reliable products. AS9100 Revision D (2016), Quality Management System – Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations.

A global standard for the Development of an Electrostatic Discharge Control Program for Protection of Electrical and Electronic Parts, Assemblies and Equipment, which covers necessary requirements for the design, establishment, implementation and maintenance of an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control.

Certified Product Quality

In the relentless pursuit to deliver exceptional solutions to our customers, our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities employ multiple technologies and operate at the highest standards to execute our extensive product quality systems.

 

1. Reliability Stress Testing, Audits and Inspections
We conduct aggressive product qualification stress testing that includes HTOL, MSL Preconditioning, BHAST/Autoclave, Temperature Cycling, High Temperature Storage, ESD, Latch Up and Surge Testing. These tests are compliant to JEDEC standards. We also perform reliability trials on new designs and reliability assessments for low PPM problems to provide continual feedback to our manufacturing processes. We perform regular material inspections, supplier reviews and process audits as well.

2. Failure Analysis
We perform failure analysis in order to isolate root cause and eliminate failure mechanisms associated with our products and processes.

 

3. Processes
Skyworks uses mistake-proofing methods and implements quality tools to ensure the integrity of the manufacturing process controls. We propose process improvement opportunities based on analysis and validate critical changes, ensure foundry products meet quality goals and expectations, and manage material supplier quality activities.
