The SKY58093-11 is a multimode multiband (MMMB)
TX-RX front end module (FEM) which uses LNAs to
support 2G/LTE/5G NR handsets. The SKY58093-11 is
part of our Sky5® product portfolio. The device
includes the SkyOne® platform, a highly configurable,
integrated connectivity solution enabling next
generation mobile devices with advanced wireless
architectures. The module includes a 4G PA block
operating in the LTE low bands, a 2G PA operating in
the GSM850/900 bands, and an Si logic block
controlling multiple power levels and band selections.
RF I/O ports internally matched to 50 Ω minimizes
external components. Extremely low leakage current
maximizes handset standby time. The InGaP/GaAs die
and passive components mount on a multi-layer
laminate substrate, encapsulated in plastic overmold.
LTE: The device meets spectral linearity requirements
of LTE modulation with QPSK/16QAM up to 20 MHz
bandwidth, including resource block allocations. The
PA operates in APT mode for a low cost solution.
5G NR: The device meets spectral linearity
requirements of DFT-OFDM and CP-OFDM
modulations with QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM and
256QAM up to 20 MHz bandwidth for inner and outer
resource block allocations.
WCDMA: The enhanced architecture supports
WCDMA/High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA)
and High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA)
modulations, and covers multiple bands for 3GPP
(including Bands 8 and 26) at different power modes.
2G: The integrated 2G LB PA covers GSM850/GSM900
bands and operates in GMSK and Edge modes.
Receiver Section: Integrated duplexers and LNAs
provide high gain and low noise figure RX paths from
antenna to transceiver. The two LNAs model supports
external CA operation for B20+n28A/B8+n28A/B20+n8
combination.
Aux Ports: The device provides four PA aux outputs,
four TRx ports, and four aux LNA inputs.
