Sky5® Low-, Mid-, and High-band Front-end Module for 4G/5G Applications

The SKY58220-21 LB, MHB LPAMiD module supports 3G/4G/5G mobile devices and operates in 3G/4G/5G modes. It uses 3G/4G/5G PA blocks in Low-, Mid-, and High-band, a controller containing the MIPI RFFE interface, RF band switches, LB/MB/HB ANT switches and bi-directional couplers, and integrated filters for Bands 26, 8, 28A, 1, 3, 34, 39, 40, and 41. The SKY58220-21 is part of our Sky5® product portfolio.

The device delivers PC2 power at 3.4 Vcc with low Icc and enables 2Tx EN-DC for various M+H, and L+M combinations.

RF I/O ports are matched to 50 Ω to minimize external components. Low leakage current maximizes device standby time. IC die and passive components are mounted on a multi-layer laminate substrate.

The device accommodates both 5G NR and LTE where wider bandwidth (100 MHz) and CA manage higher data rates. Combined filtering, RF matching, and TRx switching drives DL CA performance.

LB, MHB, and HB ANT ports support multiple ANT profiles. For UL, PA blocks support wide bandwidth 5G NR: >100 MHz for n41. The device delivers unparalleled system integration and efficiency.
