Si3402-GM

Si3402-GM Class 3 15W Power Over Ethernet (PoE) PD Interface Devices

The Si3402-GM is the industry’s most highly-integrated, IEEE 802.3 at Type 1-compliant, PoE PD interface and pulse-width-modulated (PWM) switching regulator. By setting a new bar for device integration, lowest overall BOM cost, efficiency and reliability, the Si3402-GM enables designers to easily add PoE functionality to their Ethernet products. When included in the design of a PoE-enabled system, such as a wireless access point or VoIP phone, the Si3402-GM converts the high voltage (typically ±48 V) supplied over Ethernet copper UTP cabling into a regulated, low-voltage dc supply. In addition, the Si3402-GM combines all the required IEEE 802.3 at Type 1 detection, classification and hot swap interfaces with a complete, high efficiency, PWM switching regulator.

Si3402B PoE Powered Device Non-Isolated Evaluation Kit

PoE PD evaluation kits contain an evaluation board with RJ-45 jacks to allow direct connection into a PoE-enabled system, as well as power supply connectors to enable monitoring of the Si3402B's regulated dc output. EVBs are configured by default to generate a 5V output. The EVB Users Guides provide a tabular summary of the BOM changes required to configure the Si3402B to generate 3.3V, 9V and 12V output supplies.

MSRP $95.00
