Si83xx-SPI-MB Portfolio

Skyworks’ Si83xx SPI Motherboard and Daughtercard portfolio provide an easy-to-use platform for evaluation of the Si834x and Si838x Industrial I/O products by leveraging their SPI daisy chain capabilities. The motherboard comes with one of 3 different daughtercard options: Si834xSRC, Si834xSNK, or Si838x. These stackable daughtercards allow the user to serially connect up to 4 devices at a time. The Skyworks Industrial I/O Control Panel is a Python-based desktop application that runs on a host PC and interfaces with the motherboard and Si83xx target devices via USB. Each Si834x daughtercard comes equipped with 4 output channels that meet IEC 61131-2 requirements for 0.5 A outputs, and each Si838x DC comes equipped with 8 input channels that meet IEC 61131-2 requirements for 24 V digital input channels. The table below shows the different ordering options. Daughtercards require a motherboard to plug into, so be sure to purchase one of the Motherboard + Daughtercard KITs to begin.
